sorry, only just saw this, sounds like a great next step - i particularly am glad to see team work, and more buts getting familiar with the go-sbot.
@glyph @cblgh @notplants I'd love to see added to this what the "deliverable" is. At the bare minimum, at the end of this period I'd like to see a reporting on how it went - what was learnt, what was explored, things that are complete and things which are not.
I've had negative experience with low-density timelines in the past (e.g. working a little bit over 6 months), but that may just be me/ the people I've worked with not knowing how to handle that. got to run to a meeting

I will bump this as well in case it reaches anyone who might be following me but not others in this thread who would like to support the proposal with their vote.
^ Here is a photo yunohost running on a raspberry pi. I look forward to the PeachPub stand-alone mode being deployable to many platforms, including yunohost, atek, balena, coop-cloud and other projects that may not exist yet. With the hope to cross-pollinate different ecosystems, and make something which can run in its own environment or integrate with the work of others in various self-hosting & community-hosting setups.

Love these mockups! You've got my vote
We've got a dedicated pub UI for Ahau. Happy to share that. One difference in our design is that there's no ability for the pub to post messages. ALSO, encryption/ decryption capability is disabled - we did this to decrease the overhead on the pub (it can just focus on replicating, doesn't waste any energy on trying to decrypt) AND it also helps guarantee that the pub cannot be a point of privacy failure (e.g. you can't accidentally give it group keys which someone can then access by finding the pi and putting it in their pocket!)

this is awesome @notplants. I can't wait to host one of these in my home, and ideally with #ahau be helping whanau (families) and marae (meeting houses) deploying self hosting for their archives
