Scuttlebutt Rooms are now part of the YunoHost app catalog,

this means there are now pathways that someone could graphically install an ssbroom in the cloud or on a raspberry pi without using the terminal (documentation for yunohost is here and here)

even if you feel comfortable in the terminal, installing and maintaining stuff via yunohost is quite nice.

one other unnecessary but cool thing - its setup in a way where you can actually install multiple instances of ssbroom via yunohost onto the same machine with yunohost with different domains, and they will each operate independently and find an available port as needed.

setting this up was also partly just research for me, to get to know yunohost better, so I could take that learning for what we are doing with #peachcloud
