@Laatikainen I wanted to but it is the first vacation my wife has in years, and it is on the exact same dates, so we're going to spend some time together here on this wet island travelling around and enjoying ourselves.

Just bad timing... :-( I'll be there for the next one, I hope.

Lily and I decided to do a couple day trips. We'll be catching a train early morning, coming back home to sleep, and catching another train in the next day for a couple days. That saves a bit of money on hotel fees. We'll be going to: Cambridge, Straford-upon-Avon, and Canterbury/Whitstable (we might go to Canterbury, move to Whitsable in the evening, sleep there, and enjoy the following day before moving back to London).

Those are all quick train trips from here. :-)
