I have two androids that I use for work stuff and so they're both crap-fests full of notion and slack and other things. Plus, I'm kinda through with android. Examples: mobian currently doesn't let me log in. On a PC, I'd just Ctrl-Alt-F4 or so to get into a terminal, and fix it there, but that doesn't seem to work there. So I was lucky I had ssh access.
Phone functionality (placing and receiving calls) worked for me on postmarketOS, but not on ubuntu or mobian. Needs further investigation...
Cameras are at 1fps when they work, and mostly they don't.

Going through one after the other at the moment. So exciting all that. Already missed one important phone call though because I was in a broken image at the time that didn't allow making calls. Solution: I just ordered a second SIM so that I can have a transition time with 4G on the pine, while receiving all calls on the android too.

OMG OMG OMG so excited right now. Only had time for some quick unboxing since this arrived during my lunch break and I've got a busy schedule today but OMG so excited. I didn't think I'd see it IRL this early.
First impressions:
I particularly liked that they included a sim adapter because while unboxing I was asking myself exactly "how do I get my sim in there?" :D
The #postmarketos "appstore" is still pretty empty, but then this is probably the first time there's a notable number of devs getting their hands on actual PMOS hardware, so I'm not so worried about that yet. Plus, I can just install #mocp on there 😇
Okay, off to work. Gonna take this sweetie to #logre tonight and show it around. 😊
