Astroport: Decentralized Storage for the Future
Astroport is not just another distributed storage software; it's a paradigm shift in how we handle data. Utilizing IPFS (InterPlanetary File System), Astroport introduces a master boot record (MBR) and an allocation table to data written in Tiddlywiki. Each piece of information is meticulously organized, ensuring reliability and accessibility across the network.
In the UPlanet format system, Astroport slices the planet into precise 0.01° segments. This granular approach allows for efficient data management, ensuring that Tiddlers (data units) are registered locally with a unique signature, typically your email. A daily process analyzes new Tiddlers, detecting and resolving conflicts based on the number of unique signatures:
- 0.1°: Resolved with more than 2 signatures
- 1°: Resolved with more than 3 signatures
- 10°: Resolved with more than 4 signatures
- Planet°: Resolved with 5 or more signatures
Join us in the construction of Astroport – a groundbreaking distributed storage solution where you can actively contribute and shape the future of data management.
