There is also a gritty transitional solar punk, that is looks something a bit more like mad max than the tumbler solarpunk aesthetic. It's about Reduce and Reuse over Recycle. It's second hand, it's repairs, it's pooping in a bucket. It looks a lot like camping, but make sure it's scruffy.
A way of looking at it: transitional solarpunk is about utilizing globalization to op out of it. Your solar panels arrive by shipping container and possibly you live in one too.
