In my random wanderings around non-mainstream services, I found https://lbry.tv which looks very interesting. It's a YouTube-like service, powered, at least a little bit, by #cryptocurrency (LBC). They give you coins for "doing stuff" on the network, like uploading videos, watching videos and following people. You get coins from people as "tips". Creating a channel and posting content costs you a stake.
