when you mean deleting an older post one made, what use case are you thinking?

is it that you want to remove bad content from your computer, or you want to remove bad content from others' computers (as in you said something bad)?

one possible solution that's been brought up before is to make the content into blobs, keeping only the data necessary for replication and indexing in the feed messages.
