@cinnamon I like what you raise about naming. I think telling people it will be publicly visble (or when you say it, it's heard) is an excellent idea

I think people giving offensive names to others is a good signal I want to block them. People accidentally revealing others is another matter. We could perhaps explore private-names - names that only you and some group know. The challenge is then switching contexts so in a private group I call you @cinnamon_REALNAME and here you would say @cinnamon ... but we could teach interfaces to block private names ... aaaand I'm down a rabbit hole talking implementation.
