How about doing a on topic call over mumble for instance and we later release the recording as a open-mic/podcast kind of thing so everybody can benefit from it and distil it into better written documentation?

ofc we are then back to the problem of finding a time that fits everybody but we managed to do that across three continents in the past with the project managment calls...
