@arcfide I recommend you try using it for a while. While it's technically possible for a 'friend' to write to your repo, I've never had anyone push over my stuff.
The reason this is safe to try is that if you try and push and find something stranger has happened to your git-ssb repo, then you have your local copy which you can either take somewhere else or push over the top of what's up here.
