It’s more like federation between Instagram and ActivityPub… sort of… it will be your instagram account and contacts but it won’t cross post your instagram posts but instead more text like twitter posts. It’s called #P92. We live in interesting times.

To think they were once open (that was how I got into Facebook). But I'm suspecting that both Facebook and Bluesky want to really federate between themselves to jump on the decentralised bandwagon? I'm not getting the feeling is openly integrate and become part of the bigger scene again.
