I have been on SSB for nearly two years, so I shouldn't have been surprised by this, yet I was: Last night, before I asked if #ssblist was communicating with a local sbot
, I rang in my name – @kas_ssblist – in the web interface, but even after a while I didn't see the change broadcast to the Scuttleverse (and, as mentioned elsewhere, my day-to-day account has hops=7
so I see a lot of posts even if I am not directly connected to people), which was why I posted my question. It was not until @kas followed @kas_ssblist that I saw the change here.
Perhaps it will be prudent to let people who are using the webinterface know that their posts will be invisible until somebody is following them?
