This is a short screencast running through imageSearch and &summoning functionality in patchbay.

This cast was made with patchbay v7.16.1 which can be found here: github.com/ssbc/patchbay/releases

I am a visual person so I use this functionality to track down posts which I find memorable by image used and then also how I easily add images which have already been seeded into cypherspace.

I didn't talk about what is happening under the hood with blobs or the #content-addressability nature of these images (i.e. they live on your device once but can be referenced infinite (?) times "for free".

Here was one of my first aha! moments with regard to content addressability:

oh wow ... that's kinda amazing you of all people @glyph (given your contribution to conceptart!) Dan and I are constantly using the images you post to communicate more richly using &-mentions

One thing to know about content addressability @dan is that for private blobs (attachments in PMs say), the address is different each time, so not re-useable. I'm 90% sure this is the case. It's necessary, and also a shame because it change the private communication medium quite a bit for me in terms of liberal blob usage
