LibrePlanet 2020 session about Scuttlebutt is scheduled for this time:
Sunday March 15, 15:25 - 16:10 EST
https://libreplanet.org/2020/speakers/#2710

I am supposed to submit slides by this Friday. I'm pushing my work in progress here in case anyone has any feedback in the next 24 hours or so. Lots of slides that I wanted to make are still empty so I removed them (commented out) for now. Hopefully will be able to finish it tomorrow.

@cel

Looks great! Do you know whether there will be audio/video available afterward? I'd love to see you present SSB.

wow, so rich, so diverse, so beautiful! thanks for doing this, @cel I look forward to watching it.

oh, and because it's LP, be sure to mention that it's all Free Software, just in case there's any uncertainty about it ;-)

Slides updated. I don't know if I made the deadline, but I emailed the submission. Their email server disallowed attaching the PDF because of the size, so I gave a link to it hosted on my site.

@moid
I added a SSB intro slide and a slide for the social graph. I plan to use those and the "Cypherlinks" slide to explain the basics.

@Giarc
ssb-browser-demo and foffee added.

Other slides added (mostly filling out what was planned on the outline):

  • Pubs
  • More apps
  • Implementations
  • Diversity and Inclusion
  • Other Initiatives
  • Protocol Guide
  • Future
  • Links and further resources
  • link to presentation on last slide
