It’s been a dream of mine for many years to have a compact delica 4wd #campervan. Something which I can take exploring on rough roads exploring. I’ve finally set it up. Last month I bought the van, it looks like new but is actually a 15 year old import from Japan. Then today I got a kit to replace the last two seats with a portable kitchen and fold out bed that goes over the middle seats. I’m so excited to explore Aotearoa. So is this #vanlife? I’m not moving in to it full time just using it for weekend excursions and the occasional road trip.

Turns out the kit has many flaws so now I get to fix the solar power system and drawers which broke immediately.

That looks like a great time. Would love to see pics of the outside + solar panels. Are there batteries in those cabinets somewhere?
