So is the only sure fire way to get friends onboard, who are not in your local area network, to host your own pub?

personally, i think public (global-first) pubs should cease to exist, they are against the ethos of Scuttlebutt being a local-first social network: %ongF09D....

@abekonge Haha this is confusing, I was just looking at the buttons in 3.11.3, then I updated to 3.11.4 and now they're gone again Anyway when they're there they should look like this.
@Matt McKegg Any idea what's up here? Couldn't find anything written about it.

@abekonge I guess they were temporarily in and removed but should be in soon in an upcoming release.
