Might want to consider closing the public pubs, since we might start losing the notion of "friends" :)
Hehe.. maybe :) the word carrys a lot of meaning.. technically it only comes down to mutual following here.
Tempted to hack in a tab that filters by a list of authors. Wanted it for quite some time and now it could be usefull to control the firehose a bit more directly.
Could also be a cool task for a new person, though.
Actually I noticed Patchwork doesn't have a button for "block". Hmm... @Matt ?
also... @cel: it loooks like the daily.json
needed for the activity graph is empty.. :<
Hmm...
The way to stop replicating a feed is to post a contact
message with blocking: true
.
@cryptix yes, the cron script failed last night, as it is sometimes wont to do. i've re-run it now.
and it is passed our daily record, according to @pub_cel:
@pub_cel has handed out a few invites today. i think i made its invite codes all <= 20 uses, so it will be somewhat self-limiting. maybe i will make some new invite codes with invite notes. i'm also meaning to make some more tools for querying info about invites, like to see if an invite is still good, or how many uses it has left.
well done with the blog post @andrestaltz. #1 on HN right now.
re blocking, there's an issue: https://github.com/ssbc/patchwork/issues/437
