Honestly, I just want any crab-meet and getting out of this town for a moment would be perfect. What I liked about the camp in NZ was the mix of self-organized sessions (people propose stuff they wanna talk about) but also being able to get out and inhale nature... It seems like you get the perfect spot for this.

it seems that that weekend is free for me after all, and I'm actually considering making the trip to salvage what this year has left of my summer planning. just wondering how this would all work, do I arrive thursday evening or friday, etc.

Yup! Sadly isn’t serviced from the north and i don’t want to go to Switzerland first.. 😅 I’m currently planing the train/bus route through oopsala. DM me on my main profile if you think about tagging along. (Like I said before, will most likely stay a night in Stockholm because buses drive me and my legs craazzyyyy.)

actually, flying to Oulu, then taking the train seems to be viable. And with surprisingly good timing. I could probably start out in Grenoble on thursday afternoon, fly Geneva > Helsinki > Oulu, arrive at like 1:20am (this is the bad part...) and then catch an early train to Tornio, and be there by Friday morning at 8:15.

and yea... I'm leaning towards flying now, too. Being rejected at the border doesn't sound like fun at all.
Even though the only connection arrives in Oulu at 1:20 at night, having potentially over 40hrs travel time front and back to this is a bit too tough.
