Some #noney, with (full-sized) violin for scale (which I noticed managed to snap a string while in its case, yikes). My giant package of crayons continues to be the best purchase I have made in the last decade.
Blobs seem to be delayed a bit for me, perhaps related to the network issues I've been detailing over the past couple days. In any case, my ISP doesn't randomly change my requests on port 8989 and I see your GIF now, so hopefully the tubes are unblocked.
Every currency needs a neutral element of addition. #noney
Ils sont fous, ces romains!
I did two in the approximate one hour. That was fun. I missed the note about scale. Each is on a 3″x5″ (76.2 by 127.0mm) blank index card; the JPEG DPI is correctly set.
i found 27 grid units of #noney 😺
tell Hiroshi that javascript now has BigInt, which can grow to arbitary size.
So there is no longer any need to fear inflation, carry around your marks in a wheelbarrow or reprint the currency, you can just slap more zeros on indefinitely. Although, for a project as as whimsical as noney maybe string is appropriate?
@hoodownr imagination I've been thinking about how to make #noney more easily fungible
Here's the idea:
- the noney is the image
- the image is jpeg, which is a container format / can hold meta data
- there's a butt-chain off signed transfers stored in the blob
I [@mix](@ye+QM09iPcDJD6YvQYjoQc7sLF/IFhmNbEqgdzQo3lQ=.ed25519) mine these 20 noney
(signed @ye+QM09...)I transfer these noney to [@hoodownr](@YND2Cb9uk3ZdFyzXpaXDH5HZ9udu+qjg4MhNcynK2RE=.ed25519)
signed (signed @ye+QM09...)I transfer these noney to [@bob](@vkdMlsuBgzzo5eLS3LZLdqnBpZ26OauJOMIq9gQ2E7E=.ed25519)
(signed @YND2Cb9...)- ...
The image part of the original noney is then the human readable part, because it's important to be able to look at noney, put your noney in a collection, curate your noney
