I am considering writing some code in a new language to read from flume. Where can I find the documentation or sample code necessary to read directly from the log.offset file? I'm mostly interested in scanning it backwards to find the latest sequence, latest name and latest avatar image.

Re: %HYtjtcEEL

@dominic oh wait I misread

The second index created a object of key value pairs between a position string 'x/y' and a timestamp of the last activity there

{
  '8/16': 1555845604139,
  '17/28': 1555885265908,
  '7/14': 1557345877396
}
